Lunch is Included! The Foodies List: The Cafés and Restaurants Waiting for You

Hey hey! Jess here.... coming to tell you that on any Farm to Glass Wine Tour, aka #MyWineAdventure, lunch (or dinner depending on tour option) is included.

We're talking about locally sourced, delicious food.

When I decided to start this business idea, I wanted to create an experience from when the day starts, until it ends, everything is taken care of, sort of like an all-inclusive wine tasting experience. The goal being for you to enjoy every single moment, create memories with your family and friends, and immerse yourself into all things Okanagan and Similkameen Wine Country while cruising around in a Tesla Model Y with an expert guide.

I've been working with a handful of cafés and restaurants in various parts of the Okanagan and Similkameen, to bring to you either a gourmet picnic in a vineyard, garden or lakeside to lavishing yourself at one of the region's most exciting restaurants.

When you book a full day Tour, aka Wine Adventure with Farm to Glass Wine Tours, the morning of the tour you will have the opportunity to pre-order a lunch, where most dietary restrictions can be accommodated.  Farm to Glass Wine Tours works with the following establishments on these tours:

  • The Farm Store | Keremeos, BC
  • Frog City Café at Linden Gardens | Kaleden, BC
  • Klippers Marketplace & Café | Cawston, BC
  • Naramata General Store | Naramata, BC

For the Culinary & Collectors Experiences, your lunch or dinner, including wine* are included. Farm to Glass Wine Tours really values all the hard work the staff at these cafés and restaurants do to get you nothing but the best, and gratuities are also included for your meal.  The Culinary & Collectors Experiences will bring you to one of the following restaurants:

  • The Naramata Inn | Naramata, BC
  • The Restaurant at Poplar Grove | Penticton, BC
  • Row Fourteen at Klippers Organics | Cawston, BC

What's also included? All your tasting fees, which can range anywhere from $5-40 per person, per winery.

Anything else? You betcha! Sustainably packaged water, some local snacks, an eco-friendly gift plus some other fun surprises. I can't give away all my secrets.... but basically, I just want to spoil you.... because you deserve it.

So you may be asking yourself? "Well what's NOT included?"

  • Any wines purchased (they will be kept temperature controlled in the Tesla)
  • Gratuities at the winery/vineyard if you feel the desire to do so
  • Shipping of any wine to your home (this can be complimentary at certain wineries, depending on the amount of wine purchased).

What else am I working on?  I'm looking at creating tours where you visit a local farmers market combined with a couple of wineries.  The Tesla has customized coolers in the frunk (front trunk) that will keep all your local produce fresh while you are enjoying a half day wine tour.  I think I may call these tours "The Essentials" adventures.  Great Food.  Great Wine.   All the essentials you need for your visit to the Okanagan.  What do you think?  Shoot me an email if this type of tour speaks to you.

And as always..

Be Kind.  Drink Wine.

xoxo Jess
