Wine Tours: Sustainable Sip & Sailing and Wine Adventure

Discover the wineries of the Naramata Bench and its picturesque vineyards, followed by a sail along the Naramata shores of Okanagan Lake. This seamless blend of wine tasting and sailing magic ensures a day where every sip and every drop of an anchor is a masterpiece of unforgettable memories.

"The Sip"  (Half Day Wine Tasting & Tour)

"The Anchor" (Half Day Sailing Tour)

  • Sailing Yacht: The Anam Cara, a 46ft Hunter Sailing Yacht
  • Activities: Sail, Swim and/or Paddleboard
  • Experienced Guides: Robyn & Dan Hines (learn more here!)
  • Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs)
  • Refrigerator and Cooler Space

Begin your day sampling the best local wines, before setting sail from the charming harbour in the village of Naramata. This unique experience blends the flavours of exceptional wines with the tranquility of sailing, promising an unforgettable day of indulgence and relaxation.

Your wine & sailing adventure includes: 

  • Pick up and drop off: From any hotel, campground, residential, AirBnb location between Vernon to Osoyoos as well as Cawston and Keremeos
  • Luxury Transportation: in a Model Y & The Anam Cara, a 46ft Hunter Sailing Yacht 
  • Private Estates: Certain locations are not typically open to the general public and/or tour groups, and you may be at times, the only ones on the property.
  • Quality Wine: Tastings at small, family-owned wineries from a list of some of the region’s most exciting producers. 
  • Sailing Activities:  Paddleboarding, swimming and of course, sailing!
  • Lunch: Picnic lunch of your choice, served onboard The Anam Cara. (Dietary restrictions can be accommodated)

  • Experienced Sailing Guides: Owners and avid sailors Robyn & Dan Hines as your sailing hosts.  
  • Hyper-Custom Itinerary: I will begin email correspondence upon booking to arrange the best wineries for your palate.  You will also receive a detailed itinerary and confirmation of your pre-order choices for lunch.
  • A Big Thank You from Farm to Glass & the Community:  Each group will receive a hyper-local goodie bag, and by choosing the Sustainable Sip & Anchor wine and sail tour, a donation will be made to help provide fresh fruits and vegetables to families in need, through a Community Access Share program.

This experience is a celebration of the bounties of both land and sea, creating memories that will linger like a fine wine on the palate of your travel adventures.

Your Naramata wine tour will visit 3 of the following wineries:

Typical Itinerary would be the following:

  • 10am: Winery Tasting #1
  • 11am: Winery Tasting #2
  • 12pm: Arrival at pickup, tender out, safety and orientation
  • 2pm: Anchor up, swim and/or paddleboard
  • 4pm: Return to pick-up location, disembark & farewells
  • 4:30pm: Winery Tasting #3

Farm to Glass Wine Tours reserves the right to make any necessary changes to the wineries and the order of the tour/sail.

The Sustainable Sip & Anchor Wine and Sailing Experience is available Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from June 1st until Sept 15th, 2024.  

Please note that while the wine tasting experience is a private tour, the sailing portion of the experience may have other guests, to a maximum of 6 guests total + your hosts Robyn and Dan.  

Please also note that the scheduled pick up and drop off times for your tour may vary unavoidably depending on road conditions and/or traffic and where your accommodation is and any potential special events such as triathlons, etc.  

Who can come sailing?

  • Guests must be able to move about a sailboat, walk, balance and climb a few steps on a ladder into and on the sailboat, possibly from the dinghy or the water, if swimming.
  • No sailing experience required, beginner sailors are welcome!

Reasons Farm to Glass Wine Tours may cancel a wine adventure....

  • Extreme weather.  
  • Mechanical difficulties
  • Highway closed due to an accident, forest fire, and weather conditions.
  • Guests arrive intoxicated.
Farm to Glass Wine Tours is not responsible for personal items left behind in the vehicle.
